Programme Officer at Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT)

AMURT arrived in Nigeria in 2010. Ebonyi State was selected as the first project area because of its high rates of maternal and infant mortality. AMURT Nigeria has fifteen full time employees, in addition to around 50 health workers covering five rural health centers. AMURT’s focus is to extend primary healthcare and care for mothers and newborns to remote rural areas that previous had no access to health facilities.Details:

Be actively involved in community mobilization and sensitization.
Be able to work with people from different background and believe.
Be able to understand issues and resolve dispute objectively.
Have good understanding of financial management.
Have good knowledge of stakeholders analysis
Demonstrate competency in driving community to support program.
Have good understanding of community dynamism.
Act as a team player and facilitating team work
Demonstrating/ Safeguarding ethics and integrity amongst different communities.
Access community primary health performance to identify success factors and incorporates best practices into it.
Ability to complete task in a timely manner
Ability to pursue thoroughness and appropriate attention to details.
Ability to describe key aspects and issues of relief, development and advocacy.
Ability to identify gaps, trends, priorities and key issuess
Be fluent in Igbo and English language.
Good knowledge of primary health care management.
Good knowledge of QuickBooks will be added advantage.
